I have had the great opportunity to work with Mette for 1.5 year.
Mette always rolled up her sleeves and got the job done. Whether it was a small task or a large project, Mette always followed the project from cradle to grave. It was amazing to see how Mette handled the daily tasks as requires as VP of Finance for a company with 2,000 employees globally, together with all her ongoing projects. Mette never let me down with her impressive results!
Shortly after I hired Mette, she was involved in several projects, even though she spent a lot of time getting the company back on track after 3 rough years. Together with the Business Controller they managed to get the financials ready for year-end within 6 months.
In the same period, Mette participated in a very successful ERP (AX / D365 F&O) upgrade implementation. After 36 hours the finance department ended up with no errors. According to IT, Mette was a huge resource to make the implementation successful.
Just before the implementation, Mette managed to go through the insurances, prepared a tender and ended up saving the company $260.000 annually.
Mette then continued together with HR to go through the pensions, where the company ended up saving fees, increased the interest rates and better coverage for the employees.
To control the company’s bank covenant, Mette held weekly meetings together with me and our production in Vietnam to put pressure on lowering the inventory level while Mette managed to control AR in the US and AP/AR in EMEA.
Mette also took a lot of manual processes and automated them, such as a travel expense system and voucher scanning. The company would not see effect on the net result, but it saved time for the employees which was also very important to her, making the employees happier, by easing the “boring” workload they were forced to do in the past.
Mette did so many tasks, mentioning all of them, would make this testimonial very long, but I will shortly mention a few, such as participation in the joint venture consolidation, Lean projects, move shared service center from EMEA to Vietnam, setting up KPI’s and created a fantastic automated BOD report. All of these projects ended up saving a lot of time and money for the company.
I have never met a person like Mette. She managed to get around within the company like nobody before her. Everybody knew her and with her very likable manner, she always seemed to get people to talk very openly and it helped Mette to gather important facts which was required in order for Mette to accomplish her desirable business goals. Mette is cognitive empathy skilled and a fantastic observer.
How can I not recommend Mette and not having other people have the same experience as I had with her? I wish her the best of luck and hope you get to meet and work with this amazing person.

I worked as a Business System Manager and project manager on the implementation of our Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Mette was heavily involved in the implementation of all financially related modules and later responsible for the definition and implementation of a large and automated financial reporting package.
