Mette was the perfect match when we hired her as CFO in 2012, since she had already been working with restructuring of companies for several years as CFO consultant. Our ERP (AX / D365 F&O) implementation in 2011 had gone completely wrong and no one took ownership. Already after one day, Mette began to turn the system up-side-down, involved IT in Austria and arranged for weekly meetings.
In less than 3 months Mette corrected all errors in the modules and at the same time optimized the system so reporting no longer should be done manually. The reporting time was reduced from 10 days to two days – one day shorter than the corporate goal.
In order to continue to restructure and optimize the company, Mette arranged for a Lean seminar. The purpose was to involve the company’s employees and create the same mind-set as herself. The Lean seminar gave the employees an idea of how to optimize their daily work tasks and reduce time.
Since there was no budget made for several years, Mette managed to lead the rest of the management team to create a reliable budget which we could use to identify new opportunities and improvements.
Mette always tried to seeks new ways to do tasks and also optimize, if it could benefit the employees and/or the company.
Mette is very pleasant to work with no matter which position anyone held within the organization. I am still amazed how much Mette managed to change during the year she worked for the company and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to have their entire organization streamlined.
